Lille Huset

After creating the first mini house a little over a year ago, it has evolved so many times and is really and truly ready to hit production. It will be launched this spring/summer. The houses will come with a full selection of wallpapers, stickers, and a surface you can draw directly on to customize your very own house. They will be full of wonderful colors and patterns and of course a lovely box to store it all in. If you follow the blog I will post progress as it happens and where you will be able to find "lille huset" once it hits stores. I will also release as part of the series the extra mini houses for those of you who saw them this past holiday! Within the month I will have product shots and will allow pre-orders to start being placed.

The story behind the brand...

Lille huset is inspired by a little house in logan square, a little neighborhood in a big city. This little house has lived in the city for a very long time, over 100 years. The family that built lille huset was a Norwegian family who came to this neighborhood to start a new life.  Today a modern family lives in this very house and loves it very much. They are taking time to make it a new modern home so it will be here for 100 more years.

You can have your very own lille huset to preserve the tradition of design in your home too. Choose from 6 different designs.

A new year is upon us and Grow Books will be turning 1 year old Feb 1. I am so excited to have one year under my belt with the press and can't wait for what will come this new year. I wanted to thank all of you for your continued support through all of our events, markets and online store. This coming year, starting in February (for our official birthday) we will be doing a monthly give away of our products. Our subscribers will be the first to find out about them and they will include prints, books, decorate items, and in December a mini house. I will also be posting lots of at home things you can do and make with your kids, ideas inspired by us and the children in our lives. Thank you again and Happy New Year!

Blow Wind Blow release party tonight!
